DRIVE FOR SUSTAINABILITY

PRESENTED BY WM

At the Regions Tradition presented by Coca-Cola, we recognize that hosting a large-scale tournament comes with both a tremendous opportunity and an important responsibility. As we welcome thousands of fans, players, and partners to Birmingham each year, we are deeply committed to ensuring the event creates a lasting positive impact — not just for youth charities, but for the environment and community that make this tournament possible.

In partnership with WM, we are committed to implementing credible sustainability initiatives that both reduce negative environmental impacts and drive positive change in our community.

ENVIRONMENT

Waste Reduction & Sustainable Operations

We’re dedicated to making the Regions Tradition as Zero-Waste and sustainable as possible. In partnership with WM, Thursday’s round will be called “Go Green Day presented by WM” with onsite volunteers available to assist with recycling information and sorting. In this partnership, we commit to measuring and mitigating our environmental impact across tournament operations.

COMMUNITY

Inclusive & Engaging

The Regions Tradition hosts a variety of events throughout tournament week and beyond, supporting key initiatives such as financial literacy, youth development, growing the game of golf, and inclusive adaptive golf experiences, among others.

Since 1992, the tournament has raised more than $25 million for local charities, with Children’s of Alabama as the primary beneficiary. We’re also proud to offer some of the most affordable ticket prices on the PGA TOUR, helping ensure the event remains accessible to golf fans throughout the community.

ECONOMY

$25M+ Economic Impact
